The College of Industrial Engineering started in 1978 offering an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering. In a plan to expand its activities, the college began offering graduate programs for the Master of Science (MSc) and Doctoral of Philosophy (PhD) in 1988 and 1993, respectively.

The College of Industrial Engineering has a population of 25 PhD. faculties. The undergraduate programs include majors in Systems Analysis and Production. The graduate programs include Masters' programs in Industrial Engineering, Economic and Social Systems Engineering, and Systems Management and Productivity. The Ph.D. program offers majors in the field of Industrial Engineering. On average this College admits 50 undergraduate students annually
